The Shareable™
Small bottles. Big conversations.
Every idea behind The Difference® Business Bourbon™ started the same way:
With a conversation.
But the idea for Shareables didn’t start in a boardroom or a branding session.
It started in Kentucky.
Where the Idea Began
When we first began searching for barrels to create The Difference®, we spent time in Bardstown, Kentucky…walking rickhouses, tasting through samples, and making sure the whiskey we were selecting truly lived up to the standard we wanted to set.
In the bourbon industry, there’s a common way to share samples when evaluating barrels.
They come in small, flask-shaped bottles. Typically 200 milliliters.
Big enough to truly taste the whiskey. Small enough to pass around the table.
It’s the industry’s simplest tool for deciding which barrels are worth choosing. We went through a lot of them. And something unexpected happened.
Bourbon That Travels With You
We realized those small bottles solved a problem most people never think about.
A 750ml bottle is great for a bar. But it’s not always practical to bring with you.
A Shareable™ is different.
Small enough to slip into a bag or jacket pocket. Large enough to enjoy with a few people.
Perfect for moments like:
- A tailgate before the game.
- A quiet conversation after a meeting.
- A toast with friends at the end of a long day.
It turns a bottle into something you can take where the conversation happens.
From Industry Tool to Signature Format
When we first began using Shareables, the bottles mirrored the standard sample flasks used throughout the whiskey industry.
They were simple. Functional. Built for tasting.
But as The Difference® evolved, so did the format.
What started as a practical way to share samples became something more intentional—an extension of the same philosophy behind every bottle we create. If Shareables were going to represent The Difference®, they needed to reflect the same sense of craft, design, and quality.
So we refined them.
Today, Shareables are designed to feel just as thoughtful and distinctive as the full-sized bottles they come from—small in size, but elevated in presence.
Because even the smallest bottle should carry the same standard.
